The Lion King - Pride Rock Set

It's with great pleasure I can show the work I did over the 2+ years on The Lion King. This was my first VFX film to work on and I'm very grateful to have been involved on such an iconic film. I was part of the Sets team at MPC London which was formed of so many wonderful and talented artists and production members. I was lucky enough to work predominantly on the set of Pride Rock throughout my time on the show. The work involved sculpting hero rocks such as the plinth and Pride Rock itself as well as other rocks needed for specific shots/sequences. A lot of my time was spent on the plinth, with different plinth model resolutions needed for certain shots depending on how close the camera was and for animation purposes. A huge thank you to Marco Capellazzi who helped me immensely over the two years as well as shape the look of Pride Rock itself. Massive thanks also to Jules Bodenstein and Marco Rolandi for being fantastic Leads and helping me grow as an Artist.
